What I REALLY do for work..

What I REALLY do for work..
If you're new here, my name is Maddison (Hi!! + Welcome, I'm so glad you're here) I'm a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach - but I promise I'm not like the rest. I eat candy daily, can't remember the last time I stepped on a treadmill and don't blink before going out for dinner. Living a healthy lifestyle doesn't need to be restrictive or boring.
When I decided to transition to online (I say that like it was optional, but if you've been on the planet for the past 5 years you know that the entire fitness industry did a real quick pivot to online during the pandemic) it was important to me to maintain connection with coaching clients.

As someone that has struggled to gain weight, and lose weight I understand the struggle that comes with both of the above. When I started venturing into the online space some pieces were easy -

Uploading workouts into an app: Easy
Building nutrition programs I could email: Easy
Remaining connected in a way clients felt comfortable really addressing hurdles? Less easy

Here's the thing when it comes to reaching our goals
If it were as easy as following a plan, we'd all be doing it.

We'd all be healthy, and fit, crushing every goal we have. That's not reality - Reality is, it's hard to make time for yourself, it's hard to hold yourself accountable, it's confusing knowing what to do, and when to do it.

This is where coaching calls come in - uninterrupted time where we get real, raw and connected. I'm not the type of coach to tell you to be 'more dedicated' - I know you're dedicated. I also know you have a high stress job, maybe a big project on the go, a home reno, or kids you're chasing after. You didn't miss a workout because you have extra free time and felt like laying on the couch.

We can be so hard on ourselves though - this is where I REALLY step in. Building your program is easy, but these are the moments that matter. Nobody beat themselves up into their goals - it just doesn't work that way. Digging deep to really figure out those hurdles, to work around the schedule you have, find those areas we can be 1% better in.

Progress snowballs.
Wins encourage, and empower more wins.
Celebrating success pushes us into that next success.

That's what I really do for work, and it's the best job in the world. Working with Men and Women to find balance, make sustainable changes and cheer them on while they make small steps that snowball into life changing differences - that's what I really do.

Cheering you on always,
Maddison Noel
